After he reached manhood, he decided he wanted to become a preacher, he went
to Kimberlin Heights Christian College in TN. He was in school for a year, he
and another student decided to travel over the territory around them for the
summer and preach. While they were in Kentucky at Green Grove, he took typhoid
fever which later developed into menengitis. Grandpa had a telegram saying he
was critical, and left at once. Buy the time he arrived, James was already
buried. He was 27 years old at the time of his death.

Zacheus Wilson was made a Captain during the Revolutionary War and fought at
King's Mountain. He was one of the signers of the Mecklenburg Declaration of
Independence in 1775. Zacheus was a twin to David Carroll Wilson.
